Krispy Kreme
To celebrate the total eclipse, Krispy Kreme will be debuting a special donut that will be available from Friday, April 5 through Monday, April 8. It will feature their original glazed donut dipped in black chocolate icing. The top will have silver sprinkles and a piping of buttercream made from OREO pieces. The center will house a whole OREO cookie.
Donuts are available for as long as supplies last.
Insomnia Cookies
Just in time for the solar eclipse, Insomnia Cookies is releasing a moon shaped cookie cake. The cake offers up to eight servings with two unique cookie flavors. Available for a limited time through April 8.
Pizza Hut
With their “Total Eclipse of the Hut” special, Pizza Hut fans can grab dinner for the big event. On April 8, order a large “create your own” pizza for just $12.
Moon Pie
It is no surprise that MoonPie would take part in the solar eclipse celebration and they are celebrating with a Total Solar Snackdown! The self-proclaimed “official sponsor” of the eclipse is releasing a limited-edition product called Solar Eclipse Survival Kits. These custom blackout boxes feature mini MoonPies in chocolate, vanilla or banana and two pairs of solar eclipse glasses.
“The solar eclipse of 2017 was massive for us, but we knew we had to go even bigger this time,” says Tory Johnston, vice president of sales and marketing at Chattanooga Bakery, Inc. “It’s the day the moon wins, and the sun goes down! So we wanted to make something that got people as excited about the eclipse as we are.”
Blue Moon
It would be silly for Blue Moon to not join in the fun! The brand has created a limited edition Sips Kit to celebrate the event. For just $25 you will receive black light coasters, flashlight, four Blue Moon pint glasses and edible dust to make your beer glow.
Kits will be available starting April 3, at 12PM ET on the Blue Moon website and are guaranteed to arrive before the big day.
Oreos
A limited edition cookie, the Oreo Space Dunk is filled with layers of blue and pink “cosmic creme”. The creme has a marshmallow flavor and some popping candies for a supernova explosion.
Each cookie has one of five embossings and the center has a small hole which has never been done before. Quantities are limited and are while supplies last.
Jeni’s Ice Cream
Jeni’s ice cream is releasing their Punk Stargonaut collection to celebrate the big day. Available for a limited time only and includes eclipse glasses. Flavors include supermoon, nebula berry, purple star born, space dust and cosmic bloom.
SunChips
An exclusive flavor will make its appearance for the eclipse. SunChips is considered the Universe’s Limited-Time offer. Sonic Drive-In
Sonic is celebrating the eclipse with a Blackout Slush Float which will be available from March 25 – May 5. The drink features an all black look that comes from a mix of cotton candy and dragon fruit. Creamy vanilla soft serve sits on top and that is covered with galaxy-themes sprinkles in blue and purple. With every purchase you will also get a pair of viewing glasses.
